Why We Started
We were inspired by one simple truth: everyone deserves to feel confident about their decisions when it comes to their health and appearance. Too often, people end up in the hands of unqualified providers or make choices without knowing the risks. We saw the gap and wanted to create a place that puts safety first.
Who’s Behind Mirror Mirror
Mirror Mirror was founded by Jacinta King, a registered nurse with extensive experience in aesthetic medicine and clinical governance. Jacinta started Mirror Mirror because she saw too many people unsure how to check whether their injector was properly qualified, and wanted to give them one place they could trust to find out.
Mirror Mirror is Jacinta’s own independent business. It isn’t owned, funded or directed by any clinic, training provider, supplier or employer.

What We Do
Mirror Mirror is an independent platform connecting you with verified practitioners across Australia. Every clinician you’ll find here has been checked against the same standards before being listed.
How We Verify Practitioners
Before any practitioner is listed, we check:
- Current AHPRA registration, including any conditions on it
- Current professional indemnity insurance
- That the treatments they offer are within their scope of practice
- At least two years’ experience in the cosmetic industry
We re-check these every year when membership renews.
The years of experience shown on each profile are years working in the cosmetic industry, counted from the practitioner’s first cosmetic training. They are not their total years as a health practitioner.
Our goal is to:
- Give you clear, evidence-based information about treatments
- Help you understand what’s involved before you step into a clinic
- Connect you only with trusted, qualified healthcare professionals
How Mirror Mirror Is Funded
Practitioners pay an annual membership fee to be listed. The fee never buys a verified badge or a better position in search results. Every practitioner must pass the same checks.
